Seeing us stuffed 5-0 at Lincoln in the League Cup and listening to the 2 coaches of Lincoln fans taking the piss as they cruised to a 2-0 win in the second leg at BP were memorable moments.
 
Only flicked over for a couple of minutes , was there only 1 stand open? Also the linesman who didn't give that penalty to Lincoln just after their goal used to be my boss , he hated doing TV games in case people could take the piss, and the camera zoomed right in on him with the commentator saying I have no sympathy with the assistant , his worse nightmare <laugh>

More a case of stands being closed due to building work.
 
Tonight’s Notts County v Coventry game has been excellent. Goals, mistakes, bad linesmanwork, a snarling undercurrent spilling over every ten minutes. Proper stuff.

Remember when we played Notts County in the League Cup in the early 90s we didn't take that many fans but they announced the game was memorable as it set a new record for the amount of beer sold to away fans.

I must admit that due to family connections I was given a Lincoln shirt as a gift, so sort of have mixed feelings about the web fingered yellow bellies going out, sort of. Nah not really, I loved it when Ferriby beat them in the Trophy a couple of years back. Now that seems a lonnnngggg time ago.

Not as memorable as us getting in the PL while they went out the league.
