The outgoing champions do the same.

When I went to BoothferryPark in Junior school back in the 40's we did something similar to visiting goalkeepers with a rising crescendo of booing.
Our school issued some free passes and we were warned if seen doing it we would lose our pass.

As I recall it only went on for a couple of seasons.

Can't believe that it's the 32nd year anniversary this month (11th) of the Valley Parade fire disaster. Was watching the newscasts in a bar in Tenerife with my family at the time. Will never forget the horror of it all.
Good luck to Bradford City at Wembley tomorrow.

Bloke who goes in my local pub was in the stand, he was about 30 at the time. Both him and his mate owe their lives to a quick thinking and brave copper. Different coppers. I remember him saying a while back he was going back to a match as the club were honouring before the game a plastic surgeon who had carried out operations on many of the injured. His mate was lucky enough to have received a pioneering new treatment off him otherwise his life would have been very different. The surgeon got the loudest round of applause he could remember.
I was in a fish and chip shop as the first TV pictures came over. The lad behind the counter was, and still is, a Bradford City fan. Wanted to be there but had to work. He had family at the game. Still remember the look of horror on his face.

Was at Griffin Park that afternoon. Trouble with the vermin on the way down. Trouble at St Andrews v the vermin, inc the death of a young Leeds fan.
That stand at Valley Parade was the only one I haven't seen us play from .

Millwall Athletic v Bradford City
Very decent play off final with two well-supported teams, both on the same page as their owners.
I'm easy about this one. Let the best team win.

You mean they haven't sold their allocation for a play off final? Unbelievable!

Of course it is live on TV, that there London is a long journey, money is tight in Bradford...

I've zero doubt that if we'd have reached the play-offs in the Taylor years we would've sold out our allocation.
