Up next in my Q
Banging, straight into my chill playlist.
Just bought Osees tickets.
One of the best live bands I've ever seen. So much to listen to though hard to get into. Search luvgonzo in Spotify and follow me, I've got a John Dwyer playlist which is pretty much all his best stuff.I've still got to give them a serious listen
Big fan of them. You must log in or register to see media
These next month
I mainly use my electric. I do have a steel string acoustic, also a semi acoustic (see avatar).
I have always though ti should buy a semi acoustic even if I never learn to play it properly
When I was 15 I made a replica fender Stratocaster but it was not strong enough and kept going out of tune because it began bow slightly I kept the elecrtric pickup etc for years thinking was always going to have another go but never happened, life got in the way
A mate of mine has a semi acoustic and you can play it without it being plugged in whereas a solid electric sounds tinny without it being plugged in
A guy I worked with was in a band and he said that most of the bands in the seventies and a few in the eighties actually relied on feedback to produce their sound (he did anyway) but in the sixties they tried to avoid feedback
I was at a Who concert where the feedback was killing their session and they smashed up their equipment, after that it almost became their trademark
