The grub at the SOL is ****ing **** I have to say.
Burger vans outside are much better.

I once watched a bloke in front of me eat a roast dinner inside the ground before kick off, out of a tuppaware, he must have had his wifey put it in for him before he left for the match.

I can just see him saying "I'm not missing the match but that beef looks so good".

Anyone like tongue? No you perv's, ox-tongue!

I was offered a whole ox-tongue down the local last night, not from the cow, the cow's dead!!!!

Would anyone here know what to do with a whole, raw ox tongue, coz I sure as hell didn't!!

Boil it in salty water, then scrub it clean (you'll get white gunk appearing as the salt draws it out) then back in boiling water to tenderize it, then marinade it in lemon jice/garlic for a few hours and pan fry with mushrooms.

or slow cook it with veg/stock.

Or, better still, stick it in a big fat envelope and airmail it you <ok>

Bacon sarnies are the god of sandwiches, they are the Manchester United of sandwiches.

This discussion is essentially, what is the second best sandwich, and for me it comes from the same animal...

My mum makes honey-glazed ham every Christmas, a massive slab of the stuff. It also helps that my step dad was a baker in his early years and he makes awesome bread, few pickles, some mustard. Smash it.

Passed their sell by dates?

never had lingonberries Bri? You can forage for them in northern England, not just Scandy land. Or just buy the cheap jam stuff from Ikea.

Just googled them. Wouldn't like to forage for them without somebody pointing them out in person. They look dry and sharp. Are they similar to cranberry? I forage twice a year early for raspberries and around now for blackberrys

Bit tart for me like. I love sour too but not those.

You need about 6kg of sugar to even begin to sweeten them up.

One of my pet hates is cherries. Red ones that taste like plastic. Like you get on a cherry bakewell or in a daft new yeats eve drink. Seriously wtf. What purpose do they serve?
