Me and the missus were in Macrades in Corfu 2 weeks ago and after walking to the top of the mountain we came across a tiny cafe so we sat outside and ordered cheese pie and sausage pie after about 10 mins I heard the sound of them being dropped in the deep fat fryer our lass refused to eat hers but the greek lass was that nice I ate them both, the cheese pie was dripping fat out the top layer cold in the middle and the pastry on the bottom was like wet pizza all the way back down the mountain I was spewing up with our lass pissing herself laughing.
But the greek lass wad that nice i ate them both.

To be fair, pies are that ****ing important to us northerners, it didn't seem that unrealistic!

Theirs pies are mostly fruity. They call pizza a pie. Meat ones are strictly called pot pies. Grinds my gears.
Variation on egg and bacon pies over here is to add grated cheese and chopped onion to suit in layers Then use the eggs as the last layer with just the yolks broken. Works for me.
