Just getting myself sorted to ago and watch Aberbargoed Buds v Garden Village, proper football where there is plenty of effort and some good skilful play. Going to be hard for Village as Buds are 3 from 3 in the league, cant wait, should be a great game.

It was a great game, 1-0 up 1-1 and then my boy saves a pen just before half time at 1-1. Buds to be fair came out and at us second half and went 3-1 up, scoring twice in 5 mins, but Village dug in and piled on the pressure scoring 2 great goals and should have been awarded a late pen for a clear hand ball. all in all though a fair result and a great game to watch.
It’s a pity Bobby Madley wasn’t reffing .... he loves a late penalty for handball......
Next week it is the second round of the League cup.

They are the best side in League 2 and could well go unbeaten, scoring lots of goals and not conceding many either.
Played a lot of cricket there and, believe it or not, played in the first few games....friendlies on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings against BP LLandarcy and Cilfrew Rovers!!!!
