The offence started outside but continued inside so that's a pen and a red. The only cause for complaint could be the advantage.

No cause of complaint, he gave Wickham the chance to score, but he was unable to ever gain the chance to really have a go, therefore no advantage was gained and rightly called back, something many refs fail to do.

Dowd is a total ****er. He was gutless and useless in the Palace game a few weeks ago (as were we but he is the ref and supposed to treat both teams equally).

If we ever have him again it will be too soon.

So what desicion did he get wrong then. The only thing that has been bad on the pitch today has been Cardiff's display. No heart and totally inept defending.

Technically he made the right decision, though I think it was harsh after playing the advantage, most refs would have given the yellow outside the box..............<ok>

Can see that Phill but when the offence continues inside the box the ref's hands are tied really. The advantage point is the only real debate I think. Can see why a pen was given so it's probably correct.

TLF - I have no argument with the defeat or score and you are correct in your description of our lack of performance. Please note also I predicted Sunderland to win 3.1. See our prediction league.

However, the referee sets the tone for the way a game is to be run and how he was allowed to officiate games with us twice within 4 weeks when there was clear criticism of the way he handled the Palace game defeats me.

Agree though all I'm saying is most refs would have given a yellow regardless............<ok>

Mate there a an awful lot of refs i dont want anywhere near The Liberty, But unfortunately we have no say in it. I don't think Dowd had a bad game today. What he might have done right or wrong against Palace has no effect on how he refs today. All in all there is only one group you can blame for todays performance.

Hes a fat ****er who hates Cardiff, me personally, I think he's a Jack in disguise.

Cala went to grab, but had 2nd thoughts and lightly brushed his arm.. NEVER a sending off <ok>

The way cardiff were playing you were never going to win if you were still playing now. your defense is shocking and you cant keep relying on marshal to save your arse every game. It has not just been the sunderland game has it ? It's been all season ever since malkey was sacked that you have been poor.
