He still can't get the Beckham hair cut to look right! But well-deserved.

That said, I think they should give the young player to someone else in this situation.

Bale himself was the last. Also Alan Shearer at Newcastle, twice, and Keegan won it when he was still at Southampton.

Also winners, but before they joined Saints, Mark Hughes, Peter Reid and Peter Shilton.
 
Note that it is reported that Suarez's name got booed twice at the Award Night....that must demonstrate to him what the fellow professionals think of the biting incident. Too many people trying to muddy the waters by talking about other incidents.
