We are unquestionably bigger than Norwich, they're ahead of us at this moment but it's tit for tat. Since the last time Cardiff were in the top flight the two East Anglian clubs have won the league, a UEFA Cup, an FA Cup and two League Cups and spent about 50 combined seasons in the top tier and Town have had the better of it.

The best way to win this silly slanging match which will be when he signs for us, if he doesn't we'll just go after other targets!

And when he doesn't, will you admit that you jumped the gun massively and made yourselves look almost as stupid as the florists did last summer?

You seem to have a sizeist issue Prophet, we all know its what you do with it that counts, and using that as a yardstick so to speak you dont do a lot with yours when you play us.

Admit what? That we are speculating over a player for whom, according to inside sources a deal is on the cards, and that it's caused you such upset that you came over here mud slinging?! No-one has said he has signed as far as I can see? There's only one set of fans who will have egg on their faces here and that is yourselves if the deal comes off.
 
Phil Ham (editor of TWTD) says that his Cardiff sources have told him that Ipswich Town have had a bid of 2.8 million accepted for Cardiff City winger Peter Whittingham. Apparantly he is keen to join ipswich as he is not impressed by the new managers ambitions and transfers.

<doh> please dont say you have got all this (the main sharp & whittingham rumour) from the football rumour site?!?! It is full of bull Sh*t, as anyone can write anything on there!!!!!!
 
The who's bigger than who argument is unnecessary. The simple truth is that in recent seasons City have consistently pushed for promotion, ultimately failing each time but each year we have placed above Ipswich.

Whitts is settled in Cardiff, Welsh girlfriend in toe, and signed a new contract just last summer. As stated by Malkay, he will be the key midfielder in our new(ish) side, and must be looking forward to the change in culture at the club, alot of which Chopra was said to be the centre of.

He's staying...unless you offer big money, with most of it being upfront.

When will these stupid rumours end? City are now financially sound due to investment from Malaysia (when was the last time you heard otherside? August 2010?) Mackay sees Whitts as central to his plans for next season...

The fact that 'investment from Malaysia' is seen as a good thing makes me want to cry into my beer and long for days gone by.
