    I have never seen any set of fans get so upset about a transfer rumour. None of you know it won't happen any more than we know it will. Town have the means to pay whatever is necessary if Jewell really wants him.

    Cardiff's excellent form in recent seasons goes out the window because essentially it's a new season and a new team - as does Ipswich's under Roy Keane.

    And as for the Malaysian investment - 6 million quid to 'stabalise the club' if I'm not mistaken - that will be swallowed up very quickly, it's just fire fighting with a watering can.

    Whittingham would be a great signing but i'd think we would need to spend big to get him. But JWM's "rumors" have come true before... e.g Chopra

    Also Billy Sharp for £3.5 Mil? isn't that way over the odds?

    Not really an 'IN' joke more just a bit of humorous writing to lighten the mood so we could all see the hilarity in a futile argument and maybe all become best friends, then in 20 years we would laugh so heartily at how we got to know each other but maybe I'm just an old romantic.

    it's pretty ironic that SBFF is over on the Cardiff board is SPECULATING about signing Bellendamy - he says he has HEARD GOOD THINGS! That's right, he is speculating about a transfer on the basis of things he's heard. Worse still, reports this morning suggest that Man City aren't prepared to let him go back since there are better financial offers from Stoke and Everton.

    That's right - SBFF's sources may turn out to be WRONG!

    How will he cope with the humiliation?!

    Nope I will scan the board from time to time but the way the forum is laid out is so bad you can only seen what's gone up in the last half hour a page at a time so it's pretty useless. Great source of news though.

    It makes no odds really, losing one player don`t mean we play with ten men but until deals are done you can only say what you hear and can work out.

    The Bellamy situation is clear he has never said he wants to play for Ipswich.

    Should he sit it out and play for Man City reserves that will be rather disturbing for players thinking of going there in future.

    Firstly, and before you beat your sheep in an act of domestic violence this is only hypothetical. If we did sign Whittingham how long would it be before you lot are on here slagging him off as your worst player ever? roughly 5 seconds would be my guess.

    secondly to the numpty who said we are interested in bellendamy. there would be more chance of hell freezing over before we signed that monkey faced ****.
