Todd Rundgren's always had his absolute devotees, for some reason. Maybe because his solo stuff was quite unique, he's a bit like Marmite.

I wouldn't go mad for his stuff myself, but when you look at the list of artists he's worked with and produced, it's obvious he's hugely respected in the business, by an extremely wide range of people and genres.

I took G4E to task over something a while back - maybe two or three years ago.

I've forgotten what it was, but he clearly hasn't.

Whatever it was that I said, it would have been in jest. I never mean to hurt anyone. G4E took something to heart. It's a shame he cannot let it go.

I didn't lie about playing in a band, and I didn't lie about having a decent collection of guitars.

That means, that I also didn't lie about being able to play the guitar.

And I didn't lie about having to rush off to gigs, or that I was at gigs.

All of these things, at several times in the past, I have had to put up with a gamut of ****wittery from the usual muppets accusing me of being a fantasist and a liar.
