What have I "lied" about, Stan?

 

I have a fairly decent collection of guitars.

Stan will tell you that I'm lying about that. But it's true.

Stan is a little man with a big mouth and very little else between his ears.

That's estate agents for you, though.

The guitar bit is true. I saw that.

 

I took G4E to task over something a while back - maybe two or three years ago.

I've forgotten what it was, but he clearly hasn't.

Whatever it was that I said, it would have been in jest. I never mean to hurt anyone. G4E took something to heart. It's a shame he cannot let it go.

I'm interested to hear what you claim I have "lied" about.

 

Only everything but the fact you play in a band.

 

That's great. You're telling people about things that I didn't "lie" about.

What did I "lie" about?

 

I’ve seen plenty. It was ****ing hilarious.

 

I don’t need to tell them.

 

So.

I didn't lie about playing in a band, and I didn't lie about having a decent collection of guitars.

That means, that I also didn't lie about being able to play the guitar.

And I didn't lie about having to rush off to gigs, or that I was at gigs.

All of these things, at several times in the past, I have had to put up with a gamut of ****wittery from the usual muppets accusing me of being a fantasist and a liar.

Tell me what it is that I "lied" about.

 

I know what you've seen.

If you had looked at it properly, you will know that, on the essential facts, I have "lied" about nothing.
