I never joined up, used to read the crack but never bothered with an account

Ten years ago it was flying, always varied with lots of humour and people supported Sunderland however bad things were.
One by one many of the better lads got tired of the cliquery and relentless negativity, so the 24/7 brigade 'won'.
It's a shame but those who trot out the same tedious '1547 days without a striker' posters stick that on any thread whether it's relevant or not. 'The new kit looks nice ... yes but what about signing a striker' ... you're not missing much tbh
I only go on now to pm lads about tickets, etc, or when someone on here says they're talking about me.
I haven't posted for many years but the obsession remains ...

It's 'nous free' over there, fair play to the many decent posters who still battle through it.

I look on there, I have mates who I meet up with at matches so I like to see what they're posting.
It's amazing that people will go on there spouting absolute drivel about our financial situation.
Grumpy, who's a retired accountant but still sharp as a razor, calmly and logically spells out the reality ...
... at which point people turn on him as if he's a hapless dope being paid by the club.
As you say the negativity borders on hysteria at times, seriously disturbed posters on there.
The decent lads must think they're walking through a minefield just through trying to be optimistic.
