Colin on twitter is suggesting that Perez will be part of a swap deal for Townsend, to fund a bid for Berahino.

Don't get me wrong, this bloke talks out of his arse, but what would peoples opinions be if we sold Perez and ended up with Townsend and Berahino? Personally I'd rather keep him and miss out on them both!

Unlikely, the bid for Berahino is already on the table isn't it?

I'll trust any sources above him, he's been wrong, consistently, for years.

He has. Every window he spouts crap and not once can I remember it coming true, but I still find myself asking him where he's heard it.

Id be ok with it but it will never happen. Ideally we have all 3. Reality we have Perez only.

They will keep playing him out of position and subbing him until his confidence is destroyed, the fans turn on him and then accept a bid

This has been happening already and it's obvious from day one mclaren doesn't like him.

Im soooo ****ing right

I actually think McClaren just sees some issues. Like at Man U, his deliveries were poor and some of his overall play was befitting of a young man learning. What Steve has done is put our very best player (Gini) in his best position; that means 'sacrificing' Perez, but he's still chosen over a specialist left winger (Thauvin). I don't think he hates him, it's just about adjusting a formation to suit. He can't play sole striker, he's not our best number 10, where else does he play?

We are still struggling from weird recruitment, but finally starting to buy to strengthen the team as well as the bank balance. It's ok to have Perez learn his trade from the bench. Lingaard had to, Kane had to, Danny Rose, Ross Barklay, none played every match for years.

Colin was outed as a randy plumber from Fenham with a love of webcams wasn't he?
One of the Toon lads on twitter set the muppet a honey trap <laugh>
