I'd like mourinho to come into an alleged stable club. See what he could do in building something. His first stint at Chelsea I thought he was doing that. He bought younger academy players. It appeared he was trying to build something then got binned. After him they still did well with the squad he assembled. Pochetino for me wouldn't necessarily be bad but there's the doubt over a. The task at hand and b. The pressure of actually managing a club of our size and history. Would he buckle?? Perhaps. For me the safest bet is mourinho always has been. He has always for me wanted to emulate fergie and I for one would like him to have the opportunity to.
It's funny that you lot said he was overrated and he was this and that. Now we have the United ****fest over him.
I still think LVG will retire in the summer and a new manager (who knows he will get the job) will be appointed. I think Jose is the man (I am guessing), and will be up for the Pep V Jose Manchester rivalry
I've never said that. I think perhaps the only people who did were taking cheap shots at Chelsea and the ones who loved LVG
Heads firmly in the sand. Better things to do than dig up names for a ****ing jobsworth..he clearly knows the disappointment on the majority of United's fans faces and those that used to slate Jose.
I mean, who is overrated and now there's a ****fest over? I genuinely don't know, I can't and haven't seen a ****fest anywhere. Or are you just ludicrously making sweeping generalisations and making yourself look a complete dick, as always?
Overrated? Who said Mourinho was overrated? A ****er but not overrated. He's always hankered after the United job. I'd have serious reservations about him being in charge but he'd almost certainly bring success for a short period of time.
He'll come up with some crap about United fans have always liked him and wanted him at their club. Wasn't that long ago that they were saying that they didn't want him at their club. Overrated, too disruptive, boring football, yada yada yada. Oh this is plastic land alright.
He is disruptive and his football is boring. I'd be surprised if you can find anyone who said he's overrated. I suspect that's just you talking **** and I for one know how upset you get when people fabricate a quote. If he comes to United it will be interesting to see how the Chavs react. He is after all their greatest ever manager but he has shown a degree of contempt for Chelsea on a number of occasions. Would a move to United completely destroy his legacy?
Not one person has said he's over rated and not one person has had a '****fest' over the the possibility of him being United's manager. What an utterly bizarre way to spend your life, fabricating **** on a football forum. Sad.
There's a number with reservations of mourinho as highlighted above.. I don't not will buy this **** football bollocks though. I see him working with the strengths the team has. Madrid never played **** football under him. Nor did his early Chelsea team. Yes they were hard to beat but played good stuff when necessary. Don't see any difference to some of fergies sides when we didn't have an array of attacking talent to play with . And against teams he knew could cause problems he set us up to hit on the counter. No different to mourinho at all.
I'm certainly not upset when it comes to you Stan. As I said before, I twigged you along time ago. Destroy his legacy? How will it destroy his legacy? He's not at Chelsea anymore, that time has gone. And you lot slagged him off big style. Deny it if you want.
