So who's our new pelantee taker then now that the rat has left the building? I think it was Wilson before Isak came and when Isak was injured but neither are here now. Was talking about it in the boozer last night with a few lads, one reckons it might be Schar, another one suggested Gordon but I was thinking it might be Bruno. **** knows, unless either of our new strikers have had that responsibility bestowed on them previously

Schar seems the most obvious choice right now, unless Woltemade turns out to be a penalty expert.

It's all dancing and step routines for penalties these days.

I miss the days of Shearer penalties, keepers always knew what he was gonna do, but he always leathered it so hard they didn't have a chance.
Some of them are just embarassing now. Especially when they then fluff it and miss.
If you are going to do all that ****, at least be 100% sure of the actual finish, so you don't look a complete fool.

Embarrassing but hilarious - like Lookman's pannenka straight into the keeper's hands a few years ago, and Eze's Billy Elliott dance routine last season before tapping it straight to Pope.

It all underlines why you need a designated and confident penalty taker. Schar looks the most confident for us right now, as you know he'll at least place it and hit it hard.
