We need a big man in the middle of the park who can tackle, last time we had Boateng and Ash, he as experience in this league and as long as he still as the legs to get around and boss the middle of the park then hopefully he will be a good signing. Of course we want younger players in there prime but until we have been in this league a couple of seasons (hopefully we will) then we have no chance of or have the budget to get these players
He likes to sit in a field and read poetry apparently. For that reason and that reason alone he'll do for me. On a footballing side I've always rated him. Quietly but efficiently goes about his business and isn't afraid to put his foot in. If he's on a free it would be excellent business. IMO.
this is comedy gold.. we've been confused with the egg chasers before but according to this Hull City is going to play a "test match".. so we're into cricket now too!!
If he comes for free and gets a one year deal with an option for a second year it would be a good bit of business. He is better than what we have and hopefully will be a back up or alternative option to the next midfielder we sign.

Excellent... Don't get me wrong, He'd be a ok player for us but we can do better i think.. obviously bruce does too.
I like the fact it translates as he's a veteran climber! I thought he was a midfielder! If he helps us towards the summit, we'll all be happy
Scharner doesn't want to leave anyway, apparently his wife likes it in Germany and he's promised her they'll stay there.
Sky sports quoting Bruce as saying its a no go. They have picked up on it and seem to rule it out. Seems like it is definite
