I'm surprised that Moore has gone to Sheffield Wednesday, they seem a basket case at the minute with their owner. It's looking highly unlikely that they'll avoid relegation and it doesn't look like there's much money for rebuilding next season. Unless there's something happening behind the scenes at Doncaster it doesn't seem that good a move.

Something happening behind the scenes was my first thought. They've gone to **** in the last month.

I personally wouldn’t be judging the Cali reviews of a squad by a website.

We’ve played them and they had nothing about them, they’ve struggled for consistency.

If someone tells me there squad is better than ours, Hulls, Peterborough’s or Portsmouths then I’d tell them to take up watching cricket.

Not aimed at you for clarity mate, but there’s no way they have the most valuable squad in the league, that would be Peterborough by a distance.

Agreed mate. It depends on what criteria and perameters they're using, but the Ipswich squad seems massively over valued compared to their league positions and performances since coming down. Other than bright starts to both seasons, they've not really pulled up trees as they tend to gradually fall away.

We're ahead of Ipswich in the league, and have played them twice already.

Hopefully they do get a bit of a new manager bounce against the other sides around us. So I don't think it's a bad thing.

Absolutely. They've got to play Portsmouth, Lincoln and Charlton still. If they're going to be a threat for promotion they'll have to take points off them. That's not a bad thing for us.

Can't see them not making the playoffs now. Going to get mighty competitive. Need to just focus on winning our own matches frankly

As an aside - this could be good news for us if Ipswich don't go up.

They're about to get money behind them due to the takeover, and Paul Cook loves Grigg. If they stay in League 1 it would be a natural fit for him to go there.

Good appointnent by Ipswich. His teams play good football. Be interesting to see if they can push on this season or not but you would imagine they will be well setup for next season if still in L1.

Wanted him rather than Lee Johnson. Good manager. Will be favourites to go up next season if they don’t this one.
