Hi Gents,

I wonder if you could clear something up for me.

We signed Paul Anderson as a teenager and after a year or two with us he had a successful trial at Liverpool and went there as part of a swap deal that saw John Welsh come to us.

On wiki, it says he went through the West Brom academy, but it also says that we signed him after Leicester didn't offer him a pro contract. I'm a bit confused as to how a player at the West Brom academy ended up coming to us after Leicester apparently didn't offer him pro terms.

Does anyone know the circumstances, did he move from West Brom to Leicester?

Dunno mate... can only remember him at Forest & more recently Brizzie City
 
Just looking at the wording you used, he may have gone through the West Brom academy but was then released. Maybe then had a trial at Leicester but failed to win a contract.

As Buzzard said, I don't remember him having anything to do with us...
 
West Brom mentioned him as a connection between them and us in a pre match report when we were in the Premier League, so I'm suspecting that he was never actually with you and it's just a cock-up on wiki.
