Malky Mackay has called up Callum Paterson to the Scotland squad for their game on Thursday against Holland. Hope his knee holds up OK - we don't want another Gunnar type problem when we come back after this break.
He's on the bench for Iceland this afternoon against Czech Republic. Funny he couldn't even make the bench for us against Ipswich nor Bristol our two games last week. Maybe he's on the bench today for his country more for morale and won't actually play?

Not his first job aber - from memory he was sacked after a few moths managing Wigan. More recently he's been involved (and employed) by the Scottish FA in some capacity. Aparently he was in the right place at the right time when Strachan slung his hook.

Iceland lost at home 1 - 2 to Czech Rep - Iceland made 6 substitutions but Gunnar wasn't one of them.
