Aye - the poor guy is a shattered wreck. I know he did it to himself but what a talent pissed away. He sounds drunk all the time these days.
When I said the passion was back amongst the fans,............ I didn't mean being able to vent your spleens at the many wumming skunks on our forum !! Be chilled lads,...... you are only giving them more of a reason to stay ....... their time will come.
As for Gazza,..... he had bags of talent,........but anyone with any talent from over the water usually goes and pishes it up the wall like....... is it not in their nature ?? ;-)
Let's get things in perspective here...Yes there was a very small minority of SAFC fans who did boo at half time...Each one a tosser in my opinion...And yes there was Newcastle fans who booed the Newcastle team when Bobby Robson was in charge; but how much influence that had on him being sacked only the owners at the time knows..
You suggested that it was a black and white who rated Billy's thread down. You suggested Newcastle supporters were booing SBR. I can honestly say I heard not one booing SBR ever, and if I thought a black and white was responsible for one star rating Billy's thread, I would, and the rest of the black and white, disown him forever. As for Erm, who's board is this?? Prick. if you, or any other red and white, say not for me to come on here again, I won't. Seriously. You've punched too low mate.
Erm! my neighbour who is a skunk, told me the only time he was embarrassed to support Newcastle was when the fans were booing SBR.
This doesn't bother me even if anyone did. I don't even know how to rate things or even read them. All the mags that came on were very sympathetic & gracious to me & for that I thank them.
If it was a Mag/Mags who voted that thread down, we could have a pretty good educated guess which ones it would have been; but as Billy rightly points out, the comments made by the vast majority of Newcastle fans were very gracious...
You may not have heard it (the booing), the players did... Craig Bellamy: âMy greatest memory there was Bobby Robson, playing for Bobby Robson, so you know that was it really. I was lucky he signed me and just to be involved with him, because he understood the club and you know he knew what the club was, he knew what the people were, which I think was key to going into a new club. You have to understand who you represent and who you are trying to play for, and he made it clear to us. we had a good team, we had a really good team, we were young, alot of athletes and we finished third, fourth and fifth. The year we finished fifth I could just sense it wasnât, a few of the fans were expecting more they were expecting league titles. Newcastle united win league titles? I donât think so! And I just thought they expected and things started to turn alittle bit and I just felt we didnât start the season well particularly like we didnât start any season well to be honest but we always came back with a late run you know, and just got there. We didnât start one season too well and I can just remember, alot of fans were turning and booing and Skysports would be outside the ground and Newcastle fans would be moaning about this and that, and it just led to the manager getting sacked, which was just a complete shock and was embarrassing really when I look back on it now, how he can get the sack, but I also thought the crowd played a big part of in that as well, and for me Iâve had options to go back up there since and I wont! no chance! because I played for him and there is no one else to play for up there.â Ouch!!!
On the bus on the way to the game, walking up to the staduim, inside the stadium, during the warm ups, just before the kick of there was a different kind of atmosphere, it was something I or even we had'nt felt for what seems like a long time, a real sense of change in the right direction
Well, just been watching ssn this morning there and there were definately boos at half time. Just saying like.
Whats with the holier than thou attitude? Had Newcastle picked up one point at home from Fulham and Wigan, then lose to Wolves and then be losing to Blackburn I'm sure the players would be going off to a rapturous applause, with the very notion of a new protest at the back of the minds of the SDA faithful. Just saying like.
Theres only been one set of fans protesting this season and it ain't at the "SDA" it's been at the stadium of copyright
Two things 1) I was there and had no idea anyone booed until I saw MOTD, it was that minor. 2) I find it very sad that a post about passion at the game is spoilt because of one ill advised and TBH rather childish and imature comment, I thought we had moved on from that over the past week.
Bloody hell this thread is of poor quality. The insults from both side are ****ing crap. There are tossers on both sides who spoil the party, booing our lads at half time (stupid ****ers) and skunk fans booing SBR (stupid ****ers). Dont see why people are getting wound up about it.
