We must find a way to halt this spiral downwards. In all honesty i'm not arsed about the FA Cup...meaningless trophy for a club at our level. That said, I simply don't see the players who can roll their sleeves up and run through brick walls with a goal to get out of this league. Sadly we look and (at the moment) feel like a mid/lower league one club. How did it ever get to this??

What you say in public Phil may be different to what you say behind closed doors. What you need to be is truthful to the fans. Be honest. Tell us that it’s embarrassing for a club of our stature to be in the position it’s in. Tell them that the performances are nowhere near good enough. Tell them that you will tell individual players that they are not performing to the level expected. Tell Grigg to stop feeling sorry for himself and to stop taking the piss (if we can see it surely you can).

Talking to a mate of mine who was at the match and he reckons Griggs did not get a pass all night just high balls over the top of him, same went for Watmore
Grigg is clearly a one-trick pony then. Is he incapable of changing his style of play to suit the players and tactics around him? Or is he merely unwilling to do so? Either way it says a lot about him as a player. All this crap about him not getting the service is just that. Crap. He’s up there with the ‘wrong kind of leaves’ excuse.
Bennett mentioned it, he believed Leadbitter, Maguire and watmore had been instructed to hit it forward as soon as possible when the game was crying out for us to pass the ball about. He referred to hoof football and Maguire up and unders. Awful football that needs changing for Saturday or there will be fan unrest.
PP is in a huge bath of s**t right up to his neck and is struggling to find the plug. He'll drown in it if he can't turn it round by Saturday.
Yesterday, in another thread, I mentioned Grigg's attitude when he walked up, took, missed and just meandered away in the penalty (sorry pelanty) shoot out - and someone defended him. That same s**t attitude has now infected everyone, less Luke.

Something has definitely occurred within the squad, we seemed to be a tight group last season, this season they are like a bunch of strangers....
Maybe the Ross sacking has devided the squad ?

Who knows what's going on, they need to pull their fingers out, act like men, sort it out and move forward....
It's not to late to put a decent run together and start closing the gap on the top 2....
If this carries on I can definitely see the home crowd dwindle, it's bad enough trudging all over the country in good weather, never mind in the winter....
It's so sad to see how far we've fallen, the whole place seems flat, with flat performances from half arsed players.....PP needs to up the fitness levels of this lot its embarrassing to see them blowing after 30 mins, hopefully the new fitness guy is gonna push them to where they should be....
Thats probably part of the problem, they dont like to be pushed regarding fitness, to much like hard work.
Those who wanted us knocked out of all the cups must be creaming themselves as they look forward to a vast improvement on Saturday.
