Lizard....no one gives a **** what your saying.
Because you could be right with your observations and that means......no more hating on the average Muslim.
Now we don't want that....go and read the script.

I've followed some of the argument on here and wanted to add my thoughts.
The Paris attacks have caused a lot of media attention and people have taken to the usual social media to vent and to show support, it's sad that the same attention was not given to the people who were killed in Turkey and it's sad that the usual idiots turned it into an anti Islam campaign one person stood out to me as he posted a comment condeming Islamic leaders for not coming out speaking against IS, they certainly did come out and condemn the attacks but one idiot not bothering to actually check this caused a huge amount on anti Islam comments. People are too quick to wade in without knowing the facts.
Some have then highlighted the attacks on Syria and Yemen and highlighting the suffering of those people and the wrongs inflicted upon the region by the Western world, this has to stop, intelligence has to improve. Legitimate targets have to be identified correctly and the attack has to be accurate, in any war there are casualties (not that I accept this) but imo not enough is done to keep them to a minimum.
My main point is that regardless of what is happening in Yemen and Syria, the slaughter of innocent people in the name of IS is an outrage that cannot be left unanswered, the intelligence services need to up their game and halt this organisation, they wont stop them I don't think you ever can but at this point they need curbing as they are finding it too easy to carry out their operations.
I ended up in a Turkish Restaurant on Saturday night quite late and it was really quiet in there the owners brought up the attacks and were at the point of deperately trying to distance themselves from any kind of hatred or and dislike for the country they now lived in, I found it really sad. They are nice people who bring a lot to our community and are more welcome than the bigoted idiots I occasionally endure on moronic websites like Facebook.
But agree with all sentiment here.Surely if you are trying to debunk something or say its wrong, or spreads violence then you have to know about the source not just snippets of information from the media?I couldn't be sure tbh, I dont have a copy of the original bible or qaran. However I suspect both differ from today's incarnations.
Tbh the god in the original bible seems to despise humanity and spend his time trying to wipe us out. So I wouldnt be surprised if some frankly horrendus stuff went into the book.
As for Islam, well technically Islam was spread through violence and war, early on, anyway. Personally not the best way to start a religion bit it was 1600 years ago, all anyone did was go to war. When in Rome...

A comment on our board from @Spurlock make of it you will. I think it's clear as day personally.
The guy came on our board and cowardly had a lot to say but wouldn't have the courage to point the finger or answer when challenged. He has the biggest chip on his shoulder known to mankind![]()

Maybe that chip on his shoulder is there because the things taken for granted in this country(UK)doesn't apply to Spurlock or other decent followers of the Muslim faith, because of the murderous actions of Islamic fundamentalists all Muslims are looked at suspiciously by the now frightened people of our inner cities.
Cause for Spurlock to be pissed of with how society views him just because of his faith?
Yes.![]()

But you have your agenda.
I don't mind the silly arguments I like to waffleBut agree with all sentiment here.
I just want all victims of all nations to have the same victim value to the media, I am sick of the twisted western amnesia and faux morality, it makes me want to puke. I am like I am because the government and media provide one narrative with a narrow spectrum within where limited debate is allowed, that is how you control people and society.
Surely if you are trying to debunk something or say its wrong, or spreads violence then you have to know about the source not just snippets of information from the media?
To come to conclusion of Islam being spread through violence surely you have to know the subject matter?
The prophet Muhammed (pbuh) was expelled from Makkah for his belief, he didn't return till towards the end of his life, there was a peace treaty between the early Muslims and the Makkan's of the time, the treaty was broken and the Muslims took back Makkah without violence actually.
Briefly what some of the Non-Muslims say about Muhammed (pbuh):
Gandhi:
I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and his own mission. These, and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every trouble." YOUNG INDIA, 1924
Lamartine: Histoire de la turquie, 1854
"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislations, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls... the forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire; his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and his triumph after death; all these attest not to an imposture but to a firm conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma. This dogma was twofold, the unit of God and the immateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter telling what God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with words.
"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?
