I never said the planes are hollow shells. I said there is no way the sructual strength of the plane could have kept the wings on in order for the wings to slice through all that steel.

The plane's fuselage should penetrate, that was what was planned for, the wings get stripped off and the main body passes into the building. The engineers knew kerosene does not burn hot enough to take the building down so there was no need to worry about the issue of the resulting fuel fire.

The plane's actual physical make up is nothing, the only thing that gives the main fuselage any penetratiing power is it's weight and velocity, it's strunctural composition is nothing but a big airtight drum made of flimsy alimunum.

Yet all these things the obviously very experienced engineers planned for, with maths and physics seemed to have been undone by some cartoon physics.

You said it yourself.

180 tonnes of aluminium travelling at 550+mph. How much penetrating power do you think it has?

Its more a movement than sect (i incorrectly kept using that word earlier) it is akin to the unitarian christian movement. That to be Muslim you must adhere literally to the religious texts and reject any later "interpretations".

From what little reading I have done on it. It's creation was bound tightly to the Saud ruling family. Luckily for them part of the belief is absolute obedience to the ruler (as long as they continue to be a "proper" muslim.

While IS wasn't created by the Saudis per se they follow the wahhabi tradition which the Saudis have spent billions to export worldwide most closely, compared to other radical movements. Their ranks are full of young Saudis because of this.

They didn't mind IS to begin with because of this and the fact they were trying to remove Iranian backed Assad.

There has always been the tension between the Saudi clerics and ruling family due to the continued relationship with non believers like the yanks and us.

If France does make a sustained attempt to obliterate IS and we and others join in it'll become a sticky situation for Saudi rulers when good old faithful saudis start dying.

Maybe im being tinfoil hat but as horrible as the idea of an IS ruled Saudi is it would finally force the US/GB hand. You couldn't keep turning a blind eye, your arms clients would be gone and the oil doesnt matter as much any more.

If we didnt remove them, Russia or China would to shape the ME the way they would like it.

Unfortunately the games played in this area will long continue...

Oh they're extreme and twisted alright but the wahabi practise is prevalent in one form or another with 95% of sunni muslims. I was just picking up on your point about it being puritanical and intolerent. Bit of a sweeping statement to lay the blame at one sect considering the billions who practise it.

Unfortunately it doesn't have to be the masses.

Patently enough to make a plane sized hole in the side of a building that's facia was primarily glass in a steel fame.

You're wasting you time mate. He ignores every debunking of the nonsense he regurgitates on this subject and will merely come back with another cut and paste
