been thinking about this for a while now i cant decide myself so i shall pose the question to everyone...

If (and its a big if) Pardew was to walk or be given the boot who would be your choice to replace him?

to me no-one in their right mind would want to manage us under the current restrictions etc that pardew is obviously under, its blatant that has no say in transfers both in or out, a threadbare squad, hes the only one which speaks for the club and he's pretty much told what to say.

Theres no managers that stand out who could do a job and are available anyway.

it could be worse, we could be going through what leeds are at the moment with there manager being sacked then not!

I'd go for Roberto Di Matteo under the current regime.

If we had a rich arab then I'd get Laudrup and Lee Clark to work alongside him to learn the ropes.

Realism

Pardew wont walk he has too much money to lose with 6 years left of his contract.
Ashley won`t sack him too much cash to pay Pards
If and its a big if he does sack him the Joke is waiting in the wings for his mate to give him the nod. Really dont want Joke again as manager

Can`t think of many managers who would want to step into the circus of NUFC at this current time.

Truth is, there isn't anyone I know of who is both available and an improvement on Pards - and given the current situation, we are not the kind of club somebody would leave their current position for.

The thing is at times I can put up with Pardew but its these interviews post match that are filled with such nonsensical bullshit and avoidance of any responsibilty that seriously undermine his position. If he had come out yesterday and said 'I got it wrong - badly wrong tactically yesterday and to all the Newcastle fans I would like to apologise' it wouldn't be so bad but instead he attempts to avoid all blame and just talk insane bollocks.

Pardew wouldn't walk, he is on MA's wavelength. We'd be looking for an unambitious manager willing to tow the company line whilst 'doing a job' AKA Allardyce.

*shudders*

Failing relegation, I think Pardew will be here for the remainder of his contract, or at least until MA's loan is paid off. It honestly could be worse and he at least seems like an okay guy.

I know Di Matteo won the champions league but he was sacked by West Brom and by Chelsea. I remember his tactics being very negative as well. A dream scenario would be if Pochettino left Southampton in the summer, would love him here.

We are stück with ashley and him till We or they die and god knows what will happen after.

Why not mate? One of the best supported clubs in the best league in the world. A decent squad and a ready made excuse about the owner if you don't do as well as expected.

Look We are just a pound in ashleys pocket He owns the Club and the stupid fanbase along with it. Either pay your money and stop expecting him to be any more accommodating or stop paying and thus validate any Argument you have. Doing both paying and complaining Is ridiculous .
