Doesn't matter if the right money is offered up he be told he's going. Then the club will say he requested to.

Every player in the world has a price, even a Messi bid got accepted for 100 mil.

35mil + add ons I believe? 20% of next sale or something? Cash up front too. Gotta hand it to MA, he properly fleeced them.

and he has already had Pardew give warning that any buyers can expect the same re Tiote. Who still has over six years left on his contract and is hardly the sort to throw his toys out of his pram if refused a move.

Imagine if we bought him back as well! We'd be paying even less <laugh>

I was thinking this <laugh> If we bought him back for 10mil, does that mean we'd get like 2mil back then? <laugh>

Maybe it's Carroll's master plan. Play **** for the scousers and then engineer his move back to us and become awesome again.

5 and a half years left in January. They'll have to buy that, then our valuation which we'll want up front, then add ons and a sell on percentage. It will cost an absolute bomb and we have that with every player!

Exactly. And if we get another 30-odd million cash up front for Tiote, who's complaining? I wouldn't be too bothered. Pardew + Carr probably have a replacement in mind just in case, so it'd be entirely different to the Carroll situation too.

<laugh> I'd love it if we had this hidden agenda the whole time. It'd be basically a stupidly expensive loan which didn't even work out as the player's been ****...i want this to happen so much now, just because we'll have essentially robbed the scousers <laugh>

Came out and said that it was all a plan with our board and everything after the move back. He would be a hero for that <laugh>

Still don't believe it's possible to force a player out of the club either, without some form of consent.

Only if he started scoring again too though <laugh>

And he'd probably be on the bench, anyway <diva>

Which is why it would take a fool to be so definite that somebody will splash enough cash to make it happen. A sensible person acknowledges that there is a possibility but that it is not that likely.

He'd be a different player if he came back. It'd be his boyhood club, the fans he used to be a part of etc. Not like at Liverpool as Lawro kindly pointed out but didn't admit his heart isn't in it there.

Like I say this fool will have you throwing out the red carpets come Feb 1st.

Only Chelsea or City are that stupid, but City have De Jong, Barry, Toure and Chelsea have Essien, Romeu and McEacheran. I can't see either being tempted.

Exactly. Which is why i'm chilled about it either way. We keep a great player who will still have a massive value next window as well or we get the sort of cash that can be used to help step up to the next level.

... or the cash isn't reinvested and the MA loan gets paid off a bit speeding up the possibility of his exit.
