Camara injured again.

Managed just 60 minutes against Derby by which time we were 1-0 down. 20 minutes after he goes off we are winning 2-1.

Managed 13 minutes against Pompey.

17 minutes against Bolton.

19 minutes against Lincoln

11 minutes against Reading

Prior to that he was long term sick (again).

90 minutes against Bristol Rovers (we lost)

90 minutes against Posh (we lost)

19 minutes against Orient

10 minutes against Wigan

65 minutes against Bolton (we lost)

29 minutes against Lincoln (we lost)

12 minutes against Reading

45 minutes against Newport (cup) (we lost)

Anyone who thinks that we should sign this bloke needs to arrange some psychiatric help.

Just 13 appearances in all competitions for us this season. Just two 1st team appearances for Ipswich in the whole year prior to joining us.

When he does manage to play for a few minutes he reminds me of Bambi in that scene on the frozen lake or the proverbial headless chicken, running around in circles before managing to find the area of the pitch most densely occupied with opposing players.

We should never have gone near the bloke and if we are thinking of signing him on a permanent deal, or, God forbid, we do sign him on a permanent deal, it will truly be the worst bit of business we have ever done. At least Chuks helps us to get points when he makes a brief appearance. Camara doesn’t even do that.

Hopefully Jones will throw his 8 stones around and ensure he does not stay AND end the nonsense of recruiting inexperienced/injury prone players.

That's a pretty high bar you are arguing there. I'll raise you Karel Fraeye without missing a heartbeat, and there are some glaring players from the past (that goalkeeper who got dumped on Powell for example).

Not a bad call on Thuram-Ulien, although I don’t believe Fraeye actually played any minutes for us <laugh>

I’m still sticking with Camara if we sign him permanently. Thuram-Ulien’s presence at the club was only fleeting and he did provide some light entertainment at least, with his woeful goalkeeping.

Agreed, the worst managerial appointment in our history.
All things considered Aneke coming back must be in the top three worst player signings.

I was in Brazil over Christmas 2013 and ensured I arrived back for the Middlesborough away game.
I arrived back on the Friday from 35+ degrees to Saurday and -35 degrees. Thuram's 'attempt' at saving a telegraphed 30 yard effort certainly warmed me up. Well, it got my blood racing<yikes>
