That's a pretty high bar you are arguing there. I'll raise you Karel Fraeye without missing a heartbeat, and there are some glaring players from the past (that goalkeeper who got dumped on Powell for example).
Not a bad call on Thuram-Ulien, although I don’t believe Fraeye actually played any minutes for us I’m still sticking with Camara if we sign him permanently. Thuram-Ulien’s presence at the club was only fleeting and he did provide some light entertainment at least, with his woeful goalkeeping.
Agreed, the worst managerial appointment in our history. All things considered Aneke coming back must be in the top three worst player signings.
I was in Brazil over Christmas 2013 and ensured I arrived back for the Middlesborough away game. I arrived back on the Friday from 35+ degrees to Saurday and -35 degrees. Thuram's 'attempt' at saving a telegraphed 30 yard effort certainly warmed me up. Well, it got my blood racing
