Assist on Saturday for the winner, scored tonight to rescue a point. And some on here want him dropped.
Needs to keep it up. Has been better the last 2 games but he's so inconsistent it's not outside the relms of possibility he could go the next 10 games without contributing.

He slows the game down too much for my liking,. Roberts best position is on the bench and coming on for the last half hour against tiring defenders.

Frustrating player, bags of ability, makes the wrong decision more than the right one, and his work rate is poor defensively. Unless that's instructions from the sidelines, I'd like to see him put a first time ball into the box behind the defenders for our forward(s) to run in to.

Big game for him Saturday. Think he can have some success up against Callum Doyle playing out of position at LB

That’s his position at Norwich tbf, left of a back three in attack, left CB of a five in defence …

… be good to see him booked early on so Roberts can really profit.

I agree it could be a good day for Roberts.

I’m pretty sure they’ve been playing with a flat back 4, mind

I like Roberts a lot, poor lad gets his fair share of negative comments, but he is THE player in our squad who can change a game in a minute with sheer skill. Frustrating at time yes, but his natural ability would make make him one of the first names on my team sheet...really rate him

Totally agree.

Agree he could do more final product wise but he’s a massive contributor and often an absolute joy to watch with the ball

One of the first on the team sheet for me, pure ability, frustrating at times yes, but drags our team forward at times to great effect and i would imagine some opposition managers would want the same wishes as a few on here and benched

I watch Roberts alot off the ball for me he is doing more tracking back and getting stuck in and in every game towards the end he is absolutely shagged.

As discussed on the transfer thread the other day, my issue is if people aren’t expecting goals from Isidor nor Roberts that’s two of our “front 3” we aren’t judging based on their output which is barmy. He’s a good player at this level but his decision making in the final third is poor and he makes the easy pass far too often. In his last 50 games he’s scored 2 goals. I don’t care what he brings to team that’s piss poor for a player in his position and possessing the other qualities he does. Watson has scored that in about 3 full matches worth of football :emoticon-0102-bigsm

remember when he first joined and everyone was raving about him and i posted that i thought he would be as frustrating as he is exciting...he is the type of player you want to see on the pitch, he will have you off your seat then slumping back into it in the same breath, he needs another 'amad' alongside him for those quick triangles but at the end of the day the old 'consistency' is the key word.

You can talk Roberts up all you like but the fact is that both Watson and Mundle (and Clarke, by miles) have shown how it's done and they're just getting started on their careers. Roberts is a great footballer in a general sense but if you want goals and a goal threat we can do better.

Thought he did well on Saturday, especially when he switched to the left. We don’t mix it up enough for me, should happen more often
