Anyone else a bit worried that Spurs might want him in the summer. I was reading an article on FB & the lad suggested Spurs had been looking at P0y3t. I could not find anything to back this up but it set me off thinking. Lets face it he has done a cracking job.

Its been a very long time since one of our managers has been head hunted by other clubs.

Lets just hope ES gets him a long term deal & GP is in it for the long haul.
 
Poyet is destined for bigger and better things but at the moment he is 5 mins out of the championship and still has a lot to prove. Managing SAFC from such a current lowly expectation (survival) to the spotlight of a Spurs team that has had £100m spent on it last summer is a totally different thing imo.

Anyway, after Gus lifts the League Cup in 3 weeks time he will want to take us into Europe too. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I'm not worried, Don't think he's interested in managing Spurs as it will probably hinder his chances of ever managing Chelsea which will almost certainly be one of his managerial goals

I'm fairly sure he kissed the Spurs badge in front of Chelsea fans.

They're a forgiving bunch though, just ask Rafa Benitez!

Exactly why he needs to tow the line. He has stated it's one of his dreams to manage Chelsea. Kissing a badge following scoring a goal is a spare of the moment thing, accepting/refusing the Spurs job would be off the back of careful consideration. If you weight it all up it can only hinder hopes of fulfilling one of his dreams.

Not for a year or two, he looks as if he's enjoying life at Sunderland, being left alone to do his own thing, choosing the players he wants in. Nah!, he's not going anywhere because he doesn't want too, I think he feels the same as everyone else here, that he could lead us to bigger & better things, when people have only good things to say about Sunderland AFC!
 
nothing in this football game comes as a surprise anymore ,its bad from top to bottom ,i think what is evident money is god ,it makes anything happen im sad to say
