Kinda puts our 1-2 cup tie against 'em last year into an even rosier focus............................

I'd have really likes to see Chambo do well, but maybe today goes to show that he badly choose the wrong club to go to. If he really wanted to leave (for whatever reasons), maybe Manchester would have been a better destination!

He looks like a fish outta water, why oh why chamberlain is all i can say,he's really shot himself in the foot.Agree that if he went he should of went to a club with better prospects.

Arsenal are an absolute mess.

I just can't believe how Wenger thinks he can build a side by spending no money and what money he does spend is on league 1 players and foreigners no one has heard of. Think he's gone a bit mad.

His best Arsenal side was made up of a brilliant keeper a rock defence, strong (dirty) midfield and out and out goalscorers up top. Its as if that team never happened in Wengers mind. Bizarre.

CBK - his rock hard defence was not his - it was George Graham's back four - that was the foundation to Arsenals success - Wenger has never set about properly replacing that back four - certainly not the CD and never found a replacement for Viera either - he has dithered for several seasons now. Maybe secretly he is a little bit like Keegan - creates a team good going forward and plays entertaining football; hoping to outscore the opposition! He'll be lucky to get to Xmas at this rate. Am I sorry - no, not at all.

As for Oxo - I always thought that if he should leave us - Man Utd was the palce to go because Fergerson is better at developing players than Wenger...

I was thinking more of the "unbeatable" side that we faced in 2003, but I know what you mean.

If Oxo had gone to Man utd, I reckon he would have come back to us on loan for a season. Fergie is no mug, he knows youngsters needs games, thats why Welbeck & Cleverly look so at home now.

Odds on Chamberlain crawling to the front of St Marys pleaing with Nigel to buy him back for the 100k he will be worth when Arsenal get relegated and the Saints are Promoted as Champions
