Dont know if it has already been mentioned but here in scotland they are reporting robertson is in talks with arsenal. Just a roumors. Would he get a games there though?

They'd have to have a bid accepted before they could talk to him about anything.

They've already got Gibbs and Monreal anyway, they don't really need a left back.

i realise im going to get hammered here but ill ask it anyway:
am i the only one that doesnt think roberston will end up at a top 6 side? I just carnt get my head around why they'd buy a defender that carnt defend. Even his crossing is average

Anyway you can start now....

I've said it for ages, but I don't think teams will buy him as a LB, I think if a bigger team buys him they'll use him as a winger. Like Gareth Bale but not as good.

He's not a great defender, he's not particularly improved in that aspect in the last couple years

Mike Phelan wants 'PL MANAGER' on his cv
But he won't want ''relegated" on there, or he'll be unemployable like Dowie.

If he did walk, who would take it on? Any internal candidates?
Some out of work Championship manager? No manager will want relegation on their cv.
A real dilemma for Polo Guy if Phelan walks.

He'll be totally ****ed if Phelan walks. The only decent managerial appointment they made was on the recommendation of Nick Thompson. Remember him? The Allam family are still as clueless about football as they were five years ago, and the only major difference between then and now is that most of the football world now know how clueless they are and will avoid them like the plague.

**** off Allam's.
 
So youd think ol mike could be in a position of power and get firm on whats available fund wise january
