Barring him wearing a "Kiss me quick" hat reading "Come and get me, Leicester" I can't see what else NP can do.
He's giving out all the right signals to Leicester via his negative answers to questions on the subject.
"It's great to be back at Leicester, I didn't want to leave the last time but my hand was forced. I had a great time at Hull City and I wish them well"
I hope I'm wrong but I think this thread will be for real the back end of next week.

My choice? it'll probably get treated with derision, Steve McClaren.

Yes, you can see him saying that.

I'd go for Davies or Dave Jones over McLaren.

I can't see him leaving here, he's put so much hard work into making this team his own and setting us up for a play off/promotion push that it seems daft he would leave without achieving success with this team he's built.

and do you think he receives adequate remuneration for his efforts to date?

5-2 down at the valley today, i think somebody had his mind elsewhere..<whistle>

He might well be looking for a new job shortly, he's taken just 1 point from the last 21, they've dropped into the bottom half of the table, the players have been fighting in training(resulting in three of them being dropped for yesterdays game and the keeper ending up with a broken foot) and he's rapidly losing the support of the fans. This is from the Preston board....

Two mistakes from Aristidou and two mistakes from Mclean equals 4 goals. However, Brown has been a disaster.Poor selections, poor tactics, terrible loan signings this season and last and bad man management. Carlisle not content with a drink driving ban turns up bladdered for training and gets into a scrap with others. What a leader he is. The club is in turmoil.

I knew he had taken Ashbee from us, didn't realise he'd taken the naughty step with him too.

This^^^^^^^

As for the damned united, what a load of biased ****e that film was! Both Nigel and his mum refused to watch the film! I'll stand corrected but I think it was written by a White Sh ite fan.

Haven't seen the film, so I can't comment on it. The book, however, is very anti - Leeds board of directors, critical of Revie, surreal when it comes to Cloughie's train of thought, and to the pressure on the man.

I lent it to a mate who is a Derby fan (and worships BC) and he thought it was great.

It's a great read. Read it twice, but don't take it too seriously there is too much fiction in it.

Johnny Giles also called the book and film a disgrace. Think he said he sued the author and won too.

I don't think pearson will go, but you can never say never, not sure who I would want to replace him as long as it's not dopey dowie. I have a mate who follows uddersfield and apparently lee Clark has been seen talking to foxes officials. That partly put my mind to rest as he is a front runner for the job. Also only hear say that ash could be coming back?<cheers>
