Burns talks **** and has frequently been known to make up and report ****e

'Known to'. Another of your statements of 'fact'.

You think he makes **** up because it turns out to be wrong. I imagine if I asked you for examples you would point to the Allams takeover when he said he'd heard it was off.

That's because it was exactly what he'd heard. Any good journalist, when they're concentrating on covering a match live and have been given some potential news (he said all along it was what he was hearing rather than definite fact) you would let the people know. Turned out he'd heard wrong and he said so in the next few days. It's better than him not telling us what he'd heard for fear of it being wrong.

I met a bloke the other night in a pub somewhere who told me he'd got the job, He seemed positive about it and was very pleasant, the only thing I didn't like about him was his orange tan.

He's a fat **** and full of **** in my opinion

Well I think he comes across as quite a likeable bloke and doing the job he does and being around the club and the players he does generally give out some good info. I really do not know why you have to be so insulting about someone just because you don't personally like them. I am getting pretty sick of reading your posts to be honest you are just so full of anger to anyone who does not hold your views.

I don't really get why you'd say he's a good League 1 manager but couldn't do it at this level. It's the same game and the same criteria involved. Parkinson was just a **** manager, there were plenty of reasons suggested; some thought it was because he didn't have his assistant from Colchester, some thought it was because he was too obsessed with fitness rather than football and most of us agreed that his increasingly negative football wasn't getting us anywhere. It was not because he'd come from League 1 though.

The problem I'd have with Clark though, is the negative football that others have mentioned, I haven't seen much of it so I'm just going by what others are saying about him, but it doesn't sound promising.

What's to say Clark's record wasn't down to his backroom staff? Or Robinson's to his backroom staff? I'd sooner take an experienced Championship manager over anyone who has never managed at this level before. Taking a lower league manager is too risky IMO - and how is doing that an improvement on NB?

Whoever we get won't be an improvement on NB in my opinion.

His record might well be down to his staff but so might McCarthy's or Davies'. My point is simply that any manager might turn out ****, it isn't just a case of "Manager A is a league 1 manager and he can't manage in the Championship." or "Manager B has experience so he can manage in this league." There could be any number of factors which affect how good the new manager turns out to be.

I'd rather see us go for someone from a lower league than someone 'proven' who is proven to play boring and ineffective football.

I've got sources inside the club who assure me it's maybe Lee Clark, he's definitely either on the short-list or isn't & is 100% available, I can't name names or disclose anything other than what I've been told, only I know other than who told me and nobody else can possible be in on it as it's 100% confidential. I can't even say my real name but you just have to trust me and if you suspect that I could be somebody important in HCAFC then great. I could also be very rich and powerful, who knows, but it's nice to know you think I might be..

Well he failed to get Huddersfield up so he would be delighted to manage a Championship team at last. I know we were always playing friendlies behind closed doors with Huddersfield when he was in charge so he will have seen our set up. Wasn't Kilbane at Huddersfield for a while. Don't want to watch boring football though, just going on what others are saying.

According to my husband Kilbane was indeed on loan to Huddersfield for part of last season. He adds that in one Huddersfield match he saw on TV Kilbane played the best game he had ever seen him play.Playing central mid-field he dominated the game spraying 30-40 metre passes around with unerring accuracy and was just beaten as man of the match.Even had the crowd chanting" Zin Zin Kilbane"!

I remember watching one of Kilbane's goals for Huddersfield where he picked the ball up from midfield and showed a lot of pace and skill to beat the defence :O

Don't worry Ben, ISTPLT was bound to jump on my comment, he's like my personal troll or something. Naturally Jules was going to agree with him too. They both get really angry at the drop of a hat over anything they think they can argue irrationally about.

I find it amusing the pair of them are defending the very person who got Barmby sacked too as being good at his job and honest, reporting with integrity. Maybe they have a point, maybe as a fan of the club his pushing the point when he knew it would be bad has helped the club out by allowing the Allams to get another manager in.

Thanks for clearing that up <ok>

How the **** did David Burns get NB sacked? What a load of ****. NB could have avoided potentially damaging responses by replying 'No Comment'.

I posted on another thread somewhere that I heard it's Garry Parker, who is currently 1st team coach at Celtic, maybe he's coming to similar position here? Or maybe just on the shortlist?

Lee Clark just said on sky he has had some job offers recently. Some he has turned down and some he is currently considering

Explain & name who I have shown anger to. You can't because angry is what I never am. I'm actually embarrassed for the over reactors and find their views quite pathetic, especially the ones that spout abuse towards the Allams in some cases debating whether they would still be safe in the City.

Burns gets on my tits, am I not entitled to that opinion?

You have a problem with reasoned debate. You spout unsubstantiated tripe like you have here and when I respond you are unable to give a balanced reply. That is a problem you have, not me. You have made your mind up about the Allams and are unwilling or unable to contemplate any other scenario other than they are petty crooks who rip people off ("I've heard about people who've had business dealings with them and they owe them money and won't pay", or something along them lines)and are set to stitch up the club.

If you don't like it or can't handle it don't play

If you don't like Burns then fair enough, its the words you used that made me comment, it just seems unnecessary to insult someone you don't personally know like that. I do not have time or inclination to pick apart everyone's post sentence by sentence and demand explanations for everything the way you do.

One thing though, I do know someone who is owed money (can't help that) but I have never and would never call them crooks who rip people off. I agree they have been financially very generous with their money but still have the right not to believe everything they say is gospel or that they actually know what they are doing running the club.

As for Premier League Tiger sharing a lot of my views - well can't help that, maybe there are other people who share my views but they are bullied off the board by people like you.

Explain the arrogance in the post you refer to. It was a reply to a post directed at me. You're input wasn't asked for or required, if you don't like it **** off
Well that response sums you up on the arrogance side of things. You make some good comments when not going down the road of 'what a load of ****e' and 'if you don't like it **** off'. Guess the internet brings out the worst in some people. Your opinion is just that, your opinion, other people have theirs too, you aren't right about eveything, thats why you come over as a little bit arrogant. Just bear it in mind when dismissing somebody elses perfectly valid opinions.
