Ladies & Gentlemen, seeing as there is a lot of disappointment of the decision to ban Dan and Joe this evening, I think we should have a vote to decide if the members want them on this forum.

Mods - If you take this down I will probably no longer use this forum, Dan & Joe are two of the biggest contributors to this forum and feel the subject is worthy of its own thread.
 
Why are Dan and Joe banned? I've always found them excellent posters, and ones who can participate in good debate. Has something serious gone wrong that i've missed.
 
Speaking from personal experience from a few years back ...

They are good posters, they do have valid points, but the way they sometimes go about things, isn't entirely fair on others.
 
You are all free to debate this, but the ban will still run its course whatever you decide. This isn't a democracy I'm afraid, but there are rules which sometimes need to be enforced, as Beddy and TSS have explained on the original thread.

From what anyone can tell they were having a tongue in cheek joke with eachother that one of the mods took offence to, whatever else has happened we do not know.
 
We've been told they'll be back in 48 hours. If it was a permanent ban I'd be disappointed with the mods reaction but I think we need to accept it and move on.
