If it's true he slapped his wife about, maybe someone high up at Everton was just doing the right thing and disassociating the club from a wife beater.

I read somewhere that he was "allegedly accused" of hitting his wife who incidently did not press charges and no action was taken. The couple are still married and still live together. Sounds to me like Koeman overreacted and bombed him without knowing the facts.

Typical Dutch attitude.

Dutchist.

apparently comedy gold signing by Martinez- based solely on YouTube video evidence and hearsay of his abilities. apparently wasn't scouted.- basically would be hard pressed to play conference football . promptly dropped like a hot potato when koeman came in and only given a squad number when they couldn't shift him- relegated to under 23 football collecting 55k p/week on a 3 year deal. All for giving the lad a fair crack but its certainly eye opening if you havnt got anything better to do on a wet sunday afternoon.

Are you saying Silva has signed him without knowing the guy is ****?

We know all this though, what the Everton fans thought of him.

To suggest he wasn't scouted is ridiculous, they probably just assumed that because he instantly wasn't as good as Lukaku. I find it incredible that people would think an established team would pay £13.5m for a striker from a league not as good as the PL without scouting him first. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out.

cos he wasnt playing well, his confidence went down and in turn it affected his playing ability which affected his confidence and so on............
well now that he has been given a new lease of life, I reckon that MS has put his arm round him.

We need to know the facts and until we do, we support him.

As far as we need to know.. does he play well?
what goes on behind closed doors is not my business.
IF its true, his wife had a chance to leave him.

Gossip.

This is how it probably started at Everton.
