I do wonder actually if refs etc try to even things up.
I mean right after half time too.
Someone would have have had a word from the Palace management .
They only do well if they go 1-0 up.
Otherwise haven't got any answers.
Palace will be at the bottom next season if Zaha goes.
Hopefully Leicester and Everton turn up.
Palace, Everton and other mid table teams are 'on the beach' or at least they don't have the fight for a battle if the match starts to go against them.
Expect more frustrating results in favour of Villa and Bournemouth. We will have to pick up more points to stay up. We may need something against Arsenal.

If... that goal had not been disallowed it might have been different.... but yes they were very poor....

Watched games today via French TV, and they really cannot work out how the VAR system is supposed to work. Examples of handball, quite clear in slow motion ignored, while others given. Just where does the arm stop and the shoulder begin? Some good calls, on offside, but some quite stupid ones. Different people looking at the pictures back in the studio do not all have the same opinion, so the system has the flaw built in of human error. This has always been the case since I first watched football as a youngster, except the current system is supposed to do away with that. I am beginning to believe that the ref is always right, even when he is wrong, is a better way of letting a game flow.
Well Howe looked happy at that 'defending' - don't know what Bournemouth player was thinking of, but who cares, they're one down...
Will no doubt be cancelled out by our inability to attack well.
