Trouble with knee Ops Joe is they only last a while and you can't keep having them. If you have it done too young then it is likely you will still end up with a bolloxed knee after a while. My brother-in-Law had his done after years and years of waiting. The waiting was because of his age and being told they only last around 10 to 15 years. In the end they did it because he was getting to the point of not being able to walk at all. They replaced the knee, then operated again to "tidy up the bone fragments", then operated again to "tidy up the bone fragments". Then after another Op they finally managed to sort him out.............mostly. I think it's because the knee joint is hardly rested and wears too easily once there is a problem.

Yes sensible well i had a fall at work and done something went to Gp 3 times done nothing, so went to Nuffield and went private had an MRi scan and it was said that to many injuries ruined the cartlidge and no repair, yes he said no rush to have it done as they can manage it, im doing lots cycling walking and at the gym, to build up the muscle agaim it was a bit sore , now its ok . I can imagine your brother in law was suffering, yes i dont want it until the last resort. I will manage for now. i keep working so it helps just difficult kneeling down... when i have to.
 
Don't blame you going private Joe if you can. Don't see why people have a problem with that really if it takes somebody off the waiting list who doesn't need to be there then there are no losers. I've known a few people with knee problems though and it's the success rate with it that I noted. Problem as said with knees is the use they get over a lifetime. There's a whole load of things you can't do without using them. I hope your's is successful when you have it done.

Did anyone watch BBC 1 at 9pm this evening (18th).......Britain's Brexit Crisis...by Nick Robinson.

How Theresa May's Government went into negotiations with the well organized EU negotiators....without even a blank sheet of paper in front of them.....it took the EU awhile to fully realize that the Tories had no plans or ideas on what they should do.....Remainers and Brexiteers should both be furious that all the people that voted.....roughly 33 million.... have been represented by such clueless idiots who walked into every trap the EU set for them.

What traps were they then? The only thing I'm furious about is leaving at all. A vote based on lies and no proper information at all for anyone. We will be much better off we are told. Since then the pound has fallen on it's arse and not one single job has been created by us leaving. Depending who you listen to some may well have been lost or are in the process of being lost. Fact is though jobs have gone for some reason. I suspect a whole lot more will follow but that remains to be seen. I'm personally sick to death of the whole sorry thing.
 
They weren't traps Plym, it's just the EU DID have a plan.

What's more, virtually all of the EU's "red lines" were public knowledge at the very start. It's just that Brexiteers chose not to listen and if I may say so, still aren't listening. Both candidates for the Conservative party leadership are STILL talking about the EU backing off. They won't, they never were going to, because to do so would destroy the EU's entire raison d'etre. So it's a catastrophic non-deal exit or no Brexit at all as we stand and I vote for the latter.

Ah but is there proper proof that anyone at all has walked on the Moon? Was it Hollywood or was it real................over to you.
 
That was the hell of a.. stage set.. if it didn't happen....so does that mean that women and blacks still have a chance of being first on the moon.....the ideal scenario would be a black women then.
 
I've seen Space movies and it could happen. You can't tell what they are in all that get up anyway so they could tell you anything about creed or sex. You forgot all the Alphabet sexual options as well. They might have to be LGBTXYZKGB as well. I can't keep up with them all these days.

I wont be having it done for a while i can manage and just need to keep going every few months for a drain if the fluid gets tight, so will manage as cant afford to take time off.. also winter is coming so be a bit busier, People worse off who need it before me i will wait as long as i can. I understand they dont last so will keep going on this one.. may struggle a bit with the golf tho, dam..
 
I thought my paper delivery problems had been solved....no papers because I was supposed to be on holiday....NO not quite.

Popped in yesterday to pay for 4 papers out of 7 that are usually delivered......the manager was on the till and got up my delivery page on his screen and then asked me for a full weeks payment....I reminded him that I had been in twice about missing papers...but his screen... he said, didn't show any of that....I asked him how the lady on my second visit, had said... that I wasn't getting a paper because the screen told her I was on holiday.....he didn't know the answer.

Scrap of paper found and four days papers added up plus delivery charge to find out what I owed....I nearly suggested to him that the delivery charge should be only 4/7th of the full amount....but I didn't want the chap to get stressed out anymore so I let it go. The till will continue to cough up wrong totals until someone corrects it....it will continue to pass on unpaid amounts to next weeks bill.
 
So....Boris Johnson will become our new PM tomorrow (Wed 24th).....voted into the job by only 95,153 of approximately 60 odd million of our subjects.....:huh:.
 
It's a dangerous world out there: South Korean jets have today fired warning shots at Russian and Chinese aircraft that entered disputed airspace. Here we are sitting on a powder keg and we have a clown for a PM who can't tuck his shirt in or keep his tie straight, let alone remember what not to say to the Iranians or which bike of his actually got stolen.
 
There is no surprise on how Boris got elected as all Party Leaders are elected solely by the party members. Gordon Brown being one of them as an example so it's no good anyone crying wolf over it now. It just shocks me how supposedly intelligent people can be taken in so easily these days. I'm almost tempted to up sticks and pee off somewhere else. Not sure where just anywhere rather than be here. I am convinced that this is all a dream and I will wake up soon and find that none of the votes recently are for real. No Brexit, No Trump and definitely no Boris. Even though I knew what was coming result wise today I still felt it couldn't be for real when it was announced. This Country deserves all it gets now after this bollox.
