Kylie did a 'tennis girl showing her bottom' pose for one of those Lads mags back in the 1990's I think.
That would have been the one to have, if you could have got it blown up to poster size :emoticon-0152-heart
'Blown' and 'Kylie' in the same sentence, dirty boy. :emoticon-0138-think

England are torturing Sri Lanka I see in a one day International.
Somewhat akin to Man City thrashing Exeter 10-1 in the FA Cup.

Well done the lads etc. But what do we really learn when a mis-match goes the way it's expected to?

Anyone watching the Winter Olympics?

Can't get much enthusiasm up for them myself.
I hope GB win some medals, but won't be too bothered if we fail.
Winter sports are in trouble I think - those that need a lot of snow and ice anyway. There's less and less of it around every year.
Another 20 years, and I doubt there will be any on European Mountains.
Maybe some left in Scandinavia...

The IOC have already set up a four-man committee of experts to look into this problem and come up with solutions…..

Do we have a medal yet?

I heard GB didn't do so well in the mixed Curling.
Do wonder though, why do we need 'mixed' Curling?

Curling does not require the kind of physical strength or stamina that would mean men have a natural advantage over women.
But I assume that since there is 'mixed' Curling there are also men's & women's teams?

Gregor Townsend looked a beaten man long before the final whistle when Italy beat Scotland, and I fear a heavy loss in the Calcutta Cup, not the reaction you'd hope for. Our battle will be against Wales for The Wooden Spoon. When a beaten manager talks about being "proud of the effort" his players put in you know he's lost it, it's the least you expect. Having said that I hope he makes this post look stupid.

Formula One is in a bit of a pickle.
All the teams had to go back to the drawing board and re-design cars from scratch, so now they are powered 50% by batteries and an electric motor.
Like a nasty Toyota minicab.

Yet despite having months to throw uncounted £millions at it, two cars (the McLarens) don't even work. They didn't enter the race.
I'm not Piers Morgan or Jeremy Clarkson, but I would agree with them that F1 cars should have nothing in common with milk floats.

Formula One is all about monster engines and monster power. Pure speed at any cost. Pure hedonism.
Not saving the Planet.

With sustainable fuels , there really is no reason to have purely ICE powered cars .

But to get other manufacturers in , they had to agree to what those manufacturers wanted to make it more relevant to their road cars .

So now Audi have come in ( doing well so far imho ) .

Cadillac have entered ( Using Ferrari power units as they haven’t built their own yet ) .

And Honda , powering Aston Martin . The deal was signed in May 2023 after After Honda had initially announced they were withdrawing from F1 .

Unfortunately Honda released a load of the F1 engine side to go onto other projects within Honda or leave the company and ply their engine expertise elsewhere ( Red Bull with Ford ? )

Even more unfortunately for AM , they didn’t find any of this out until November last year when someone decided it would be a good idea to go and actually visit the Honda Factory .

That’s when they also learned Honda were REALLY struggling .

It only took AM 2 1/2 years to find all this out <doh> <laugh>

It could be worse, I'm a big Hamilton fan, but can't abide Ferrari so I'm torn. Ideal scenario for me is him winning his ninth title (get stuffed Michael Masi) and another team the constructors title. :emoticon-0138-think
