If you flew in a straight line from London to Istanbul (shortest distance) how many countries would you fly over?
Pure guess, I'm afraid. Didn't really think about it too long.
Having consulted a map, it looks like UK, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey.
I am just thinking that this may be a crap question as I traced a line on an iPad picture of a map using the internationally recognised precision instrument of a TV remote. So no accounting for curvature of the Earth, my shaky hands and dimming eyes etc. By my dodgy calculations you would fly over UK, in and out of France and Belgium, Germany, Austria, a tiny slice of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
To avoid a referral to VAR I feel we should move on and you take up the baton.

Not James Brown or Otis. Correct inasmuch as he was male and American, though.
Perhaps not quite as big a name as either of those.
No, he was at his height in the 70s. As well as soul, he was also known as a jazz and spoken-word artist.
