La Paz, Bolivia.Inverness' ground is right by the river, so don't think it would be that high - Stroller already correctly guessed the UK ground.
You're in the right area for the worlds highest....

If right Strolls actually knew rather than guessed for 50% of the answer, so the question is his to set.
I thought the highest ground was in Peru?
My Peruvian geography let me down. And it’s not Cuzco? Ayacucho (I’m just picking names from a map of Peru now).Quite a bit further inland Stan

I’ve just looked it up. It’s built around a giant pit which is a silver mine. Not a pretty town.I came across this in an article recently, which prompted the question....
After Brazil's goalless draw against Bolivia during 2018 World Cup Qualifiers, which was played on Estadio Hernando Siles Stadium, La Paz, the Brazilian players needed some oxygen refreshment after their game at such a high altitude.
Estadio Hernando Siles is not the highest stadium in the world. Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte, another stadium in Bolivia, is even higher with an altitude of 3,960 meters (12,992 ft).
However, the highest stadium in the world is Estadio Daniel Alcides Carrión located Cerro de Pasco in Peru with an altitude of 4,380 meters (13,973 ft) above sea level. This stadium is used by football team Unión Minas.
This from Wikipedia....
Cerro de Pasco (population 70,000) is a city in central Peru, located at the top of the Andean mountains. It is the capital of the Pasco region, and an important mining center. At 4,330 metres (14,210 ft) elevation, it is one of the highest cities in the world, and the highest or the second highest city with over 50,000 inhabitants, with elevation reaching up to 4,380 m in the Yanacancha area. It is connected by road and by rail to the capital Lima, as far as 300 km.
