What is the highest grossing film in the UK?

 

In actual £ or adjusted according to inflation?

If the latter I reckon it would be an old film from when everyone went to the pictures.

Gone with the Wind perhaps.

If not it’ll be some rubbish like a later Star Wars film.

If by the number of people who saw it at the flea pit, definitely something old.

I'll give you that...it's Star Wars, The Force Awakens, grossed over £120m.

Gone With The Wind doesn't even make the top 50, but wins with most admissions, although this was more to do with several re-releases
