So none of those states have roadside billboards? Good for them. It’s film awards season, the annual marketing orgy. Two films have received nominations for 11 oscars, but won none. Name either (one you will have heard of, the other I reckon not. Both released post 1970)
Famously it was Steven Spielbergs Colour Purple... I know there was an earlier one too...and I know I saw it ( and thought it was tosh) but can't remember what it was.... Shirley McClain film ??? Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Right on both films Beth, the second was 1977’s The Turning Point a nearly forgotten film with Shirley MacLaine, Ann Bancroft and others about ballet.
Cheers...yes Turning Point tosh film ...never got why it was nominated. Okay...just read this fact and so have just written this question. I must admit I am a bit pleased with it .. Who in 1993 got rid of an Allegra to get a Marina.. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' video was the first to cost $1million, what was the most expensive music video before 'Thriller'?...
Right bumping this thread up with three questions that appeared on the Watford website before our cup match and forwarded by my Watford mate Jeremy. The man who wrote them is happy for me to reproduce them here. ‘Below are three groups of clubs that Watford and QPR both belong to. The question is, what connects each group of clubs? Group 1: Watford, QPR, Norwich, WBA, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Blackburn, Bolton, Man City, Leicester, Charlton, Derby, Birmingham, West Ham, Hull, Wolves, Reading, Sheffield United, Burnley, Forest, Ipswich. Group 2: Watford, QPR, Arsenal, Man City, Everton, Liverpool, Tottenham, Brighton. Group 3: Watford, QPR, Charlton, Bristol City, Oldham, Cardiff, Southampton, Blackpool.’ I didnt get one of them I am not sure if it helps but when we got the answers there is a 4th group Group4: Watford, QPR and Bristol City
All I know is we have played Watford more than any other club in our history... Is Q1 teams that have been promoted to the top division more than once?...
