Correct. Most of their wins were some time ago, but along with Real Madrid and Barcelona, the only team never to have been relegated.

Cheers Stan. As we all know Belgium beat us twice in the World Cup finals - when was the last time a team beat another team twice in the same World Cup finals ? What countries were involved ?

2002, Brazil beat Turkey twice, in group and then in semis?

All yours Shawswood. Brazil beat Turkey 2-1 in the group phase of the 2002 World Cup, and 1-0 in the Semi Final. Take it away.

Little mathematical puzzle to while away the hours, or seconds if you know the answer

Arrange these figures into two groups of four so that each group shall add up to the same sum.

    1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9

As the sum of these numbers is odd, it must involve more than +. Having worked out the principle I don’t feel obliged to follow through to do the calculation.

Fair enough Stan, but it’s not complicated, quite simple really

Yeah, I’m on work conference call all afternoon, and even I am not rude and disrespectful enough to transfer the level of focus required to work it out while pretending I am listening and engaged. Plus doubtless some bugger will ask me a question at some stage.......

I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that Kevin Gallen's brothers didn't actually play for Rangers, Beth. They were on the coaching staff, of course.

Correct, Nines. I'd actually forgotten about the Springetts, and was thinking of Pat and Ray Brady.
