England 1982 is correct, and there's another one from '82. Two of the others are from earlier tournaments, but two are more recent.
 
Scotland in 74. Cameroun in 82. England and Brazil as mentioned. The USSR. were thrown out after refusing to go to Chile for a qualification play off match, during the time of Pinochet (74 World Cup ?). No idea about the 6th.

Not counting USSR. The missing two are more recent - one from 1998 and one from 2010.
 
Not wishing to butt in, but all those that love quizzes..... my daughter pointed me in the direction of an app last week which does two quizzes per day, one at 3:00pm and one at 9:00pm, 12 questions read by a quiz master, 3 answer multi choice, 10 seconds to answer. If you answer incorrectly you're out but can continue to watch the remainder of the questions. All those who get to and answer Q12 get a share of £1,000. upwards of 250k play on an evening, last night 120'ish won £8'ish each, not much but still good fun. In the half a dozen or so tries from this end, my best is answering question 6, about three fails on Q5. Its called HQ and is a free download from app store

It was 1938...my memory failed a bit....but I wrote that question for a quiz last week....Sorry got over excited

A fairly easy one... World Cup Willie was the first and of course the best World Cup Mascot....but he was not the only lion mascot..
Which other World Cup also had a Lion as a mascot?
