Glossop North End were in the first division for about 4 seasons at the beginning of the 20th Century - with only 33,000 inhabitants Glossop is the smallest town to have had a team in the top tier of English football. Well one is England in 1982. The others must be from those tournaments around then when they played two group stages instead of knockout, so they’ll come from the 74, 78 and 82 finals I’m guessing, but would have to resort to Google for the names.
