Rules:

2) Once you're dead you may post one "f** you for voting me off" post- otherwise dead people don't talk or give clues and hints to each other.

3) No private discussions outside the game unless you are Mafia.

4) Day 1 starts now. Night 1 starts (approx) Friday 8pm GMT. Night cycle will start with the execution of whoever the players think is in the Mafia (taken by vote) - in the case of a tie, I'll flip a coin. After death, the role of the person executed will be revealed to everyone. After the execution, any Mafia events will occur (conversion, assassination). Last thing at night is the Detective's investigation.

Day 2 started. Day 2 Ends Sunday 8pm GMT (that's 9PM UK time in Summer)
Day 3 started. Day 3 Ends Tuesday same time.

5) Please BOLD who you are voting for. You may change your mind at any time- but I will only count what you write in bold. (otherwise when you do forum based Mafia games it's hard to tell if a vote is actually a vote or just someone speculating.) Please also specify reason for the vote- round 1 this can be hard because it is all random and no clues to go on, but reading peoples reasons for a vote can be revealing. Not posting a reason could be construed as "guilty". "Random Vote" or "Revenge because you voted for me" are acceptable reasons in round 1. <laugh>

There will be one Mafia Don (can order nightly assassination or convert townsfolk)
There will be one Mafia Investigator (can do one investigation a night to try and find the townsfolk detective)

The townfolk will have two detectives (each can do one investigation a night to try and find the Mafia).




If you did not receive a PM from me, you do not have a specific role, you are just a townsfolk. Everyone alive may vote.

Mafia win when they outnumber townfolk- or if only two people left in game and one of the remaining is Mafia.
Townfolk win when all Mafia are dead.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You are allowed to make any claim that you like. For example- a Mafia member could say "I'm a detective and I discovered that 'X' is Mafia". The game is all about bluffing- but bare in mind if you bluff and get found out they will know you're guilty.

You need to vote (BOLD YOUR VOTES) for who to execute. Round one is always a bit of a potshot- don't have much to go on for who to vote for. Give a reason too... which in round one can be as simple as "no clue who else to vote for" - but it helps people look for motives in later rounds.
 
Are there only 2 Mafia at the start?

(This is not a bluff since if I would know the other mafia if I was mafia)

is the list to vote out of and i vote for who is a mafiosa (at least 2?) .... and someone is a cop or two people are so.... with ten in and if the mafia out number they win = must be 3/4 max mafia i guess

on the ground that twisted logic reins supreme i vote for hash and my reason is he created a terrorist cell so milk is bound to give him a mafia role

Yes... some people sometimes do things that will give themselves away. Othertimes, if you see last minute vote switching that changes who is getting voted for it can mean protecting one of their own, trying to change the vote.

It helps if you've played the game with others before... if normally chatty people are suddenly not communicating much then that could be a sign of guilt (not trying to give something away). Day 1 is usually pretty slow though because it is mostly random.


I just realized I should have made it Thursday Night... oh well... won't change it now because I said Friday in post header and in PMs sent out.
