OK that's fine we all need to be voted for once, then the kill is random and we have a 20% chance of killing a mafia, which isn't great but better than 0% chance if innocents start randomly ganging up in which case the mafia will stand by and let them be killed without giving themselves away

Now the mafia should be too clever to gang up and give themselves away, worst case we get a mong innocent who gangs up, then they get voted off round 2 and we are 2 innocents dead with zero clues

That also helps the mafia since the votes are split and they can change their mind later on to eliminate someone. Of course, it would also be bloody obvious who is a mafia guy <laugh>

PS...the innocent sounds like fun :)

Anyone ganging up now is making themselves a clear mafia. The only reason for innocents to gang up is next round when someone claims they are a detective and know who is mafia (though they will probably be lying since they only have a 22% chance of finding a mafia)
