Nico Rosberg won as I was expecting but feel sorry for Lewis being let down by his car again from the first lap
I am just catching up on the PVR of the race. 1996 - 2008 I travelled up to Montreal for the Canadian GP weekend. If anyone is interested in signing up, this is my 10th year playing this rather fun online F1 competition:- http://www.f1extreme.net/ You can play solely for bragging brights, or a number us throw $20 into the pot each year for prizes that are issued by the administrators at the end of the season - totally legit as I won a prize one year and it was duly paid by Email money transfer. Simple game where you don't want to score points - you pick a team & three drivers for each race and score points based on their finishing positions. Each team & driver can only be selected 5 times through the season. So in accumulating unwanted points I am royally screwed for the Australian GP where I made the following selections:- Team: Mercedes AMG Petronas (Hamilton + Rosberg) P1: Sebastian Vettel P2: Lewis Hamilton P3: Fernando Alonso Which equates to 65 points for me , Hamilton 20 for team + Rosberg 1 for team + Hamilton 20 for driver + Vettel 19 for driver + Alonso 5 for driver, so if anyone decides to sign up you haven't missed much.
Cheers for that link Kilburn, looks interesting so will deffo have a look when I get time. I'v been out in the sun all day so missed the action but it looks and sounds like a good 1st GP. I'm off to see if the highlights are on I Player.
A few more dollars flushed down the toilet for Tony as one car crashed out on the first corner heavily damaged and the other also retired later.
Red bull cheating yet again, everyone was told to limit their fuel rate but they refused, its hard on DR but I hate that slimy scuzzball horner who thinks the rules don't apply to him. They cheat year after year and get away with it, they will probably get 2nd back too.
It's all a bit soulless now, everything seems to be down to mathematics, why don't they just let rip and race?...
Balls, was up in time but totally forgot this was on. I'll watch later, but notice both Caterham's seem to have finished, and 13th & 14th is decent for them.
Those stewards are a joke, they gave Chilton a penalty when he was clearly hit by someone before hitting the Ferrari. Its the equivalent of refs these days giving a yellow for every tackle. Decent race for TF, he got 13th.
They only have a chance of beating marrusia on pace so they will always finish fourth from last at best unless others have problems.
If you touch a ferrari then you will be penalised whether it is your fault or not. They have always had preference over all other teams.
That was Magnusson and Kimi clearly cut in front of him and that was wrong too. They gave out 3 penalties and all were wrong.
There was great racing all through the field last time, but I hope the others are going to give Mercedes a bit more to think about at the front.
