I wouldn't say it's a negative view. It's just I was completely awesome at Fifa 13 (and modest too!) but I feel like I've never played the game before. I find it really difficult to skill or run past anyone. Can't seem to beat anybody down the wing with pace, but I have to pass it around and through ball in behind to get down there. Went back up to world class yesterday and beat Hull, but still had the same issues. Went 2-0 up and thought maybe I'd adjusted enough, then all of a sudden I conceded 2 bull**** goals where there was almost nothing I could do and I got pissed off again. Then I scored the winner on around 87' and was happy :D

EDIT: I really don't get the manager mode scouting either (not youth scouting btw). My scouts are bringing up a load of **** players, and you can't see any player's stats so it's a complete guess as to whether they're better than your current players. Now I have a list of about 50 players between my 3 scouts and 95% of them are **** from lower leagues. I can only remove them one by one too and it's very slow. Am I doing something wrong?

Wow yes that would ruin it, Diablo have realised they need to shut down the auction house because it means people just buy the win. Getting things like apartments by paying for them instead of earning them would make the whole thing pointless for me.

It's the same with FIFA Ultimate Team, I don't spend any money on it. Other people can but at least you still buy random packs and then have to get the coins to bid for who you want instead of just putting down £20 for Messi.
 
You are going to be able to buy money in game. Its a good idea I think, getting money in the game is easy if you know what you are doing. And this will allow for money to go towards expanding the online world.

While playing the other day I found a race track and huge Casino, that's the kind of place I can see me spending a bit of time in the online game :)

Clearly people do pay, there are far too many teams with superstars in every position. I would never spend money on things like that.
 
Done with the monk on Diablo 3 now, 2 more classes to go...

Buuuutttttt with Fifa coming in today, I think they can take a back seat for a while. :)
 
Loving GTA although my only criticism is it needs some sort of sat nav that can be used to get to missions (like yo highlight them on the map and it gives you the route to get to them). Annoying when you open up the map and all the mission icons aren't on the main screen and have to try and work it out. You need to be able to move the map around to see where things are.

It has - go to the pause menu and click on map and put a waypoint marker down and it'll give you map directions, in a purple line. Or if you're in a mission it automatically does it with a yellow line <ok>

Is that what you meant?

Yeah whatever icon you're pointing at on your map just press A (if on Xbox, I imagine X on PS3?) and it'll set a satnav route for you.
 
In a dilemma - I'm usually one of those geeks that has to buy all the new games on the release date. Maturity, mortgage payments and generally low cash has meant I have to be more conservative with my money so here is my question:

GTA V or Fifa 14 ...

I play online <ok>

There is no risk of the console not working as its illegal to access personal equipment, however if the online systems pick up that its modded then it can block the console number so you can't get online. Rarely happens though.

NB: its not illegal to mod a machine as some people do it to allow them to play home videos etc but it is illegal to have copied games. therefore, if the console is blocked, you can argue your case to get it unblocked <ok>

Oh, and to answer the question, I'd go with Fifa 14. Its the only game I normally play <ok>

If you can't, or don't want to get it modded then I'd get GTA V, play it a while til you're done then trade it in and get Fifa. Lots more life in Fifa so it'll last through to Fifa 15.
